Easy explain WDF

What is the Ward Development Programme?

The Ward Development Programme (WDP) is a Nairobi County programme that helps each ward get money for local development projects.

What does it do?

  • Gives every ward a fair share of development funds

  • Supports small projects that improve daily life (like roads, classrooms, drainage, community spaces)

  • Lets residents help choose which projects are most important

How does it work?

  1. Residents share ideas about what their ward needs

  2. The county plans and budgets for these projects

  3. Projects are built and checked for good quality
